Captain LeeRoy is a comedy YouTube channel that creates short bite sized pieces of comedy fun. Originally created as a way to have fun and add to our portfolios, (our first video was a music video with dogs), we decided to continue making videos and took a more serious approach - creating social media channels so that our friends and fam could follow and keep up to date with our shenanigans.

Each episode is a standalone skit. As series producer, I assist in planning and scheduling shoots, sourcing locations, props and organising catering for the day. During the shoot I operate the boom mic and once the episodes have been edited I help with making short promotional stories for Facebook and Instagram.

Captain LeeRoy was nominated for the 2025 AACTA Awards in the Online Category! We were the only series not funded by federal or state grants, so reaching this stage was a major achievement!
