ABOUT AMALIA

Hi, my name is Amalia and I'm a media producer. I completed my bachelors degree in Media Screen and Sound Production at the University of New South Wales with the intent to further my skills in music and to learn more about sound recording and sound editing. This quickly changed when I took my first film class and made a short film. I loved the creative process and the production steps that went into it. After this, I focused on developing my filmmaking, editing and videography skills. I took up work on other film projects outside of my studies and continued to get as much experience as possible. This has enabled me to delve into several types of content creation. This includes independent films, student films, television shows, music videos, commercial and promotional material and livestream shows.  Having worked as a freelance producer for over 6 years, I have a demonstrated history of working on a wide variety of projects. I am skilled in production management and content creation with a detail oriented approach to project coordination. I possess strong managerial and problem solving skills, and have the ability to work well under pressure whilst leading and inspiring a team.
